Gront is the brainchild of Guy Roelofs, a Brabant musician/composer, who evokes countless imagery with his instrumental soundscapes.
Tried and tested as he is, Guy produces an amalgam of infectiously light-hearted rhythms and pleasantly melancholic melodies. Because his electronically generated sounds simply sound organic,
Roelofs takes you on a journey. As if it were a walk in the woods in autumn, you experience the discoloration of the foliage, the falling of the leaves and the emergence of mushrooms. Here and there you can hear the blubbering of a nearly dried fen or life in a full rained creek.
Everything is buzzing that it is a sweet pleasure.
