Es war ein langer, elaborierter Prozess, der auch noch durch so manch Unvorhergesehenes verlängert wurde, aber nun ist es so weit. Das Album „2791972“ von WeinHara, dem Musikprojekt des Wiener Künstlers Philipp Müller wird am 21.09.2022 weltweit auf Streaming- und Download-Plattformen veröffentlicht.

Ausgangspunkt für Songs wie „U-Bahn-Früh-Stück“ „Lorre“, oder „Gut Jagt Böse“ von WeinHara sind die Texte von Philipp Müller, die in Deutsch und Englisch verfasst sind und durchaus manchmal seine Wiener Herkunft hören lassen. Ironie, Symbolik und Wortspiel dienen dem Autor, die oft sehr ernsten Inhalte formulieren zu können. Ebenso ist ihm aber auch wichtig, den Horror unserer Zeit, so direkt wie möglich anzusprechen. Das Klangspektrum von WeinHara reicht von organisch rockend über funky bis hin zu elektronischen aber auch orchestralen und ätherischen Hörerlebnissen. In den Harmonien bewegt sich WeinHara eher durch dunkle Farben und bedient sich dafür gerne modaler Skalen. Dieses Gemenge schwelgt vorwiegend im Elegischen, wirkt aber auch tanzbar.

Philipp Müller produzierte das neun Stücke umspannende Album „2791972“, sein Geburtsdatum, vorwiegend in seinem eigenen Studio und bereits im Sommer 2012 entstanden die ersten Skizzen, als er beschloss so etwas wie ein Solo-Projekt zu starten, das sich von seinen vorherigen Projekten stark abheben soll. Bevor Müller WeinHara gründete, war er Sänger und Texter in Wiener Bands wie funkenflut und Sushi With Suzie und seine musikalische Karriere begann 1987 am Schlagzeug in mehreren kurzlebigen Bands. In der Produktion des Albums „2791972“ wurde Müller von Alec Whittier Corwin als Co-Komponist unterstützt, Anna Franziska Siglreithmeier spielte die Trompete ein für den Song „Hommage An Bartleby“ und Peter Zirbs gab dem Album den endgültigen Sound.

Der Art-Pop von WeinHara wird durch Philipp Müllers Label Fair Art Pop Records vermarktet und unterstützt Amnesty International, Ärzte ohne Grenzen und Green Peace.

It was a long and elaborate process, extended by certain unforeseen events, but now the time is right. The album "2791972" by WeinHara, the musical project by Viennese artist Philipp Müller, will be released worldwide on September 21, 2022 on streaming and download services.

The starting point of songs such as "U-Bahn-Früh-Stück", "Lorre", or "Gut Jagt Böse" from WeinHara are Philipp Müller's lyrics, which are written in German and English and sometimes reveal his Viennese roots. With irony, symbolism and puns, the author is capable of formulating content often very seriously. But it is also important for him to speak as directly as possible about the horror of today. The sound spectrum of WeinHara varies from organic rocking to funky, electronic as well as orchestral and ethereal listening experiences. In the harmonies, WeinHara tends to move through dark colors and likes to use modal scales to do that. This blend revels primarily in elegiacis, but also seems to dance.
