Debout

Debout is part of a trilogy of new songs that Viktor Lazlo describes as ‘a tribute to the wounded’ in our society. People in her close circle that were the victim of assault, abuse and other types of violence inspired her to write these songs. She wants to encourage them to be resilient in times of trouble and to have high hopes for the future.

Debout is included on Viktor Lazlo’s long-awaited new studio album Woman, that will be released on October 20th. The album contains a mix of new English and French songs. Viktor Lazlo gives us an insight into her personal life and her concerns. She sings about past relationships, the bond with her son and her time in Brussels where it all began.
