Vicky's Awakening
She takes her artistic name from her grandmother, Doris Santacruz, a popular bolero singer in Cuba in the 50’s/60’s. At 17 she is already attending Scaena Carmen Roche Musical Theatre School in Madrid for three years, specializing in singing, dancing and theater lessons. At the same time she is studying at The Creative Music School taking up voice, musical theory and performing arts, doing active performances in Bar&Co bar throughout the course. In order to enhance her education she signs up at the San Francisco City College (USA) where she graduates in the curses ESL and GED. Along comes “Madhouse” by The Bucle Co, where she performs the starring role as “Julia Simone” and “Singing with you” a children’s show.
