Empty bottle man

Coming from the "baby boomer" generation (as they are called in Germany), the family gene pool was able to provide me with some musical talent. The seventies shaped my hearing and so in 1979 I swapped my LEGO and toy train for an electric guitar.
And my teenage hormones were also full of anticipation of a sprawling career as a rock star.
Together with my brother and a few boys from the neighborhood, I founded the first band, to the delight of all the parents and neighbors who were compulsively listening in, with a rehearsal room in the children's room at home.
With three chords I was able to work my way through punk and new wave. The "New German Wave"
initially washed back my own language and finally ebbed away in the sand of inflationary banalities.
So I struggled through the musical horrors of the eighties and played primarily on the dusty ramps of the Münsterland lowland bay. The latter has remained the case to this day, even if the performance radius has expanded. I'm currently playing in the country and rockabilly band LOW PLACES from Münsterland.
