Tjaša Fabjančič is one of the first in a generation of Slovenian jazz vocalists who established themselves primarily through original music. Through her diverse musical work, she has been connecting Slovenia and Austria for many years and has so far released four original albums (Traveling 2009, Circles 2011, Pripovedi 2013, and MiniatureN 2020). Her melodic music, with its poetic touch, effortlessly crosses the boundaries of genres and languages, telling stories about the bright and dark moments of life, about birth and departure, hope and tenderness. On this album, a selection of these compositions can be heard outside their more intimate settings, as the renowned Austrian pianist, composer, and conductor Michael Lagger—her long-time musical collaborator—has masterfully transformed them into a powerful orchestral form, written especially for the RTV Slovenia Big Band.

Tjaša Fabjančič je ena od prvih v generaciji slovenskih jazzovskih pevk, ki so se uveljavile predvsem z avtorsko glasbo. S svojim raznovrstnim glasbenim ustvarjanjem že vrsto let povezuje Slovenijo in Avstrijo in je do sedaj izdala že štiri avtorske albume (Traveling 2009, Circles 2011, Pripovedi 2013 in MiniatureN 2020). Njena melodična glasba s poetičnim pridihom z lahkoto prehaja meje žanrov in jezikov ter pripoveduje zgodbe o svetlih in temnih trenutkih življenja, rojstvu in odhajanju, upanju in milini. Izbor teh skladb je na tem albumu mogoče slišati izven intimnejših okvirov, saj jih je priznani avstrijski pianist, skladatelj in dirigent Michael Lagger, sicer njen dolgoletni glasbeni sopotnik, mojstrsko prelil v mogočno orkestralno preobleko, pisano posebej za Big Band RTV Slovenija.
