Trouble is Up

As I entered my early twenties, I found myself in a long-distance relationship that stretched from one side of the globe to the other. Trouble Is Up reflects on that season of separation, the lonely nights lying awake, staring at the ceiling, and counting down the hours until our time zones aligned and we could finally write or call.

"My head falls heavy on the covers, waiting on a dream. The hours run into each other, chasing after sleep." Those lyrics came directly from that experience. They capture the feeling of living between conversations, waiting for the next chance to hear the voice of someone you love.
Eventually, that chapter came to an end when I packed my bags and moved to Vienna. Looking back, that leap into the unknown opened the door to an incredible new life in Austria and, ultimately, to the music I'm sharing now.
