Parachute Party - The Test Pilots are landing! The Test Pilots are a neo-rockabilly/oldschool psychobilly trio. The band sounds like old school psychobilly at its best, but played with a modern approach. Soon you'll be holding their first full length release »Parachute Party!« which features nine new songs that were never released before and THE song »Thin Blue Line« that was a part of the last Dynamite Magazine's compilation. The song also has a video that you can find on YouTube, but all the other songs are fresh and were never RELEASED before. They were recorded at Elementstudion in Gothenburg by Oskar Karlsson except »Thin Blue Line« which was recorded in Studio Bo by Bo Karlsson. The beautiful artwork was done (again!) by THE French illustrator and cartoonist Samy The Kay.Their first EP »Deadly Rhythms« was released in March 2015. The CD was immediately sold out and there are only a few vinyl copies still available. We are still very proud of it. The Test Pilots are the first international band that we signed and and also the first one that we released on vinyl.The EP and musicians got great reviews by Die Psychocouch, Hellacious Harmonies, Dog Eat Robot, Dynamite Magazine and excellent feedback by Alan Wilson (The Sharks), Sparky (Demented Are Go), Johnny Zuidhof (Batmobile), Oliver Baroni (The Hillbilly Moon Explosion), Olaf Haspel (Migraine Records) and others.Johnny Zuidhof explains why he booked The Test Pilots for Brainless Rockin' Fest: »The first time I heared of the Test Pilots was pure coincidence. It was a link somewhere on facebook and it so happened that I was looking for bands to play on my Rotterdam Brainless Rockin’ Fest. I get a lot of demos and CDs when we go play with Batmobile. Some of them are good and some of them sympathetic, but not so good… (You know how it is, don’t you?). But this link to that Test Pilots' song really was something different. A great sound, great musicians and great songs! I booked them straight away for the Brainless Rockin’ Fest and now I’m so excited that I will see them live next weekend for the first time… Aaaah… go go The Test Pilots!!!!«In the meantime the band played at Finish festival Tawastia Stomp (with Restless, The KDV Deviators, The Space Cadets and The Gutter Demons), Psychobilly Meeting at Pineda de Mar, Wild at Heart (Berlin, DE) and other venues. They are now prepearing for the first Brainless Rockin' Fest (Rotterdam, NL) where they will be sharing the bill with Batmobile, 56 Killers and others.We're more than certain that the »Parachute Party!« will be even more succesful as their EP and that it will be the Test Pilots' perfect landing on to the rockin' scene!Stay tuned, we know you'll enjoy it!
