The Fairytellers
The Fairytellers are a fresh new band that grew around singer/songwriter Maria Ivanova’s songs, written in the language of jazzy pop. As a band, they created their own unique style and offer a first taste of it in their debut EP “Balkan Bread”. This EP persuades with melodic and groovy compositions and distinct lyrics style. The Fairytellers get under your skin with enchanting vocals, clear-cut instrumental lines and a surprisingly poetic yet urban touch. The musicians step out of jazz and face simplicity and fun, creating an awesome sound. Made in the heart of multicultural Europe, this EP touches upon issues like love, betrayal, passion, purity, migration and belonging. The Fairytellers are currently in the studio to complete their album – expect the very best.
