The Dandifieds' music is influenced by early ska, reggae and rock steady from the 60s. Their sound and style is very comparable to the ska revival at the end of the 70s, which permanently made history under the synonym 2Tone.After being founded in 2006, the quintet quickly made a name for itself in the scene and was able to bring dance halls to a boil as the opening act for the legendary Pioneers or Mr. Symarip (aka Roy Ellis). After countless performances at home and abroad, the band has been a bit quiet in recent years for personal reasons, but since 2020 the Dandies have been spending a lot of time in the rehearsal room again with a new drummer (DJ KING D from THE NEW ATTENTION!) to bring their mix of original compositions and cover versions to the reggae crowd and thus ensure unforgettable ska nights.
