Wrong Pride EP

TheCrimson was an Austrian Melodic Metal Band that performed between 2008-2014.

Five musicians, drawn together by their passion for powerful melodic metal music. All members already gained experience spanning two decades in various projects, reaching from blues to metal and have proven their musical skills on stage as well as on recordings. Their music might be described best as a modern kind of Metal, combining elaborated Songwriting and ambitious Arrangements. Melodic elements alternate with powerful riffing, all held together by driving rhythms. Lyrically, dealing and coping with no fiction – just every day’s philosophy, expressed by vocals that sing, shout and scream out what has been buried inside for far too long.

Just some months after getting together they entered studio and recorded their 6-track debut EP "Buried Memories" (released 03/2009). Their debut gained overwhelming feedback by both – critics and fans – and the song “Memories” appeared on the Sampler “Heavy Hitters” (Metal Hammer UK/Issue 194, 08/2009) with Bands like Killswitch Engage, Lamb Of God and Dream Theater. Besides numerous live appearances with many local-scene-heroes TheCrimson has already played support-shows for giants like DevilDriver (USA) and Malefice (UK).

For the actual single release "Wrong Pride" TheCrimson joined forces with Cubeaudio Studios (GER) and the producer Markus Gumball (Tamoto, Guano Apes, All Ends). The songs got their finishing touch by the hands of UE Nastasi (SterlingSound/NY), who has already worked for bands like Fear Factory and many more.
