Summer Of 17

„Summer of 17“ is the third single from the album „Stars On The GPS Sky“. The video - self-directed with the help of cinematographer and editor Gabriel Hyden - shows protagonist Prepper Ann (Anna Breit who is also in charge of Tents’ press photos) sitting all by herself in an improvised shelter, equipped with the essentials for survival. While wearing the makeup of bygone days, she is already in a functional outfit as if preparing for some threat. The monologue is about a distant outside world and the retreat into an isolated space that comes with a strict regime: „I want some discipline in here, all the things that you fear.“ The minimalistic, still life-like setting reflects that very self-restraint. Eventually, Prepper Ann sits in a framing of a room - yet without walls - singing of an „impenetrable, beautiful wall“. The images are blurring, however, the protagonist remains in the same pose."
