Hex

After their playful, stylistically diverse album Stars On The GPS Sky in 2018, Viennese band Tents returns with the new single Hex (out on Numavi Records). In late 2019, C. Posch and P. Stoettinger teamed up with Viennese musician/producer Fazo to record a handful of songs. The catchy yet tense single Hex originating from the session is based on the repetition of a minimal synth bass line complemented by shakers and rattling drums. Nervously circling around some kind of haunted house, the narrative employs familiar bits from the horror genre. Hence a protagonist called Johnny is not to be omitted. A new album by Tents is in the making and will be out later this year.
