TEN TO 16 ... Another typical rockband many of you may think. Wrong! If you ask the band what kind of music the play, then answer will be:"Hmmmm, mainly rock.", but that's only halftrue. The musical bandwidth, the atypical songstructures and the cynical critical lyrics at first glance may seem a bit like harmonized chaos. Nontypical drummer Tom writes all the lyrics, which might be the reason they are straight forward and put it in a nutshell. So he not only beats his drums but gives a piece of mind as well. IN YOUR FACE! Guitarist Tommy ranges between harmonies an dirty tunes and therefore creates tremendously beautiful round corners. He always manages to insert a twist in supposedly ordinary structures. DIRTY TUNES! Bassist Ludo often supports songs in a more melodic way than is common and given to funk-elements increases the rhythmic components. RHYTHM BABY! Singer Sophie has only three wishes: loud, with feeling, dynamic please! She loves the order in the chaos and connects the different elements with her voice. FEEL IT! Ten to 16 not only play Rock, they play SophRock! Ten to 16 originally started as a side-project of Tom an Tommy in 2008 to occasionally escape the progressive metal they played at that time.
