Let Me Glow

Ihre „In Life“ EP noch im Ohr, kommt mit „Let Me Glow“ schon der nächste Release voller eingehender und euphorisierender Tracks. Der Opener „Do You“ ist ein lupenreiner Deep-House-Tune, der sich in dämmrigen und nebeligen Gegenden wohl fühlt und entfalten kann. Für „Let Me Glow“ haben sich die beiden wieder, wie schon für „In Life“, Unterstützung von Simple One geholt, der mit seiner soulig-warmen Stimme den perfekten Unterbau für diesen hoffnungsvollen und zuversichtlichen Track stellt. Deep- und Progresive-House-Produzent Stefan Mint, der zuletzt auf Labels wie Dantze und Crossfrontier Audio einen bleibenden Eindruck hinterlassen hat, zeigt bei seinem „Stefan ReMint“ von „Do You“, warum gerade er sich einen ausgezeichneten Ruf hinter den Maschinen und Effektgeräten erarbeitet hat. Anschließend leistet Julian Hruza, vielen als die verraucht-verruchte Stimme des Wiener Duos Julian & der Fux im Ohr, bei seiner Bearbeitung von „Let Me Glow“ ganze Arbeit an der Percussion-Front. Curly Sue, Mastermind hinter den Wiener Jugendstil-Partys, setzt „Do You“ in einer gänzlich neuen Umgebung aus und lässt den Track in einem wundervollen Collagen-Klangbad planschen. Zum Abschluss spielt Johannes Semf, Produzenten-Kompagnon von Johan Johanson, gekonnt mit der Sound-Ästhetik von „Let Me Glow“ und gibt seinem Remix einen ordentlichen Progressive-Einschlag. Opening cut “Do You” put its focus on classic deep house aesthetics, with upfront rhythms and hazy atmospherics. For ‘Let Me Glow’ which follows, the two enlist the vocal stylings of Simple One, who’s warm and soulful voice adds a charm and beauty to the composition to accompany the pair’s emotive instrumental elements. Dantze and Crossfrontier Audio producer Stefan Mint, turns on his ‘Stefan ReMint’ of “Do You” next, taking us on a progressive seven and a half minute journey with his interpretation. Following is Julian Hruza’s rework of ‘Let Me Glow’, known by many as the sinfully smokey voice of the Viennese Duo Julian & der Fux, Julian provides a stunning rework heavily focused on a raw, percussive led groove. Curly Sue, the mastermind behind the Vienna Jugendstil events, sets “Do You” in completely new surroundings, submerging the vibe of the original in a contrast of murky atmospherics and hypnotic textures. Finally Johannes Semf, companion producer of Johan Johanson, skilfully plays with the audial aesthetics of “Let Me Glow”, giving his remix a definitively progressive impact.
