Different

Along my journey in life, I have learned that things don’t always turn out the way you plan – most of the time they turn out different. I am so thankful for all those uphill climbs, turns and detours. Without them I wouldn’t be who I am today and I am pretty happy with who I am right now. «It sure didn’t always go my way, but I wouldn’t do one thing different.»

I want to thank my parents, Alice and Thormod, for giving me the gift of life and among many other things especially the love for music. Thank you for all your encouragement throughout my life and being there for me. Thank you to all my siblings: Øyvind, Ann-Magrit and Christina. A big thank you to my first band Kentucky Riders for taking me in and believing in me. Giving me time to grow into the artist I am today. Thank you to my fans out there who show me so much love. Without you this would not have been possible.

A big loving thank you to my North Dakota family, especially Patrice Mitchell. It always feels like coming home when staying with you. Special thanks to Joyce Cannon who sent me a friend suggestion to Trey Bruce on Facebook. I couldn’t have imagined that it would turn out the way it did. Thank you, Trey, for answering my e-mails and sending me all the demos and taking on the job of producing me, you rock!
