Waiting for the Calm

After years of singing and performing, Susanne is focusing on her songwriting and has released her debut single ‘Waiting for the Calm’, available on all digital platforms.

Susanne grew up in Redcar on the Northeast of England Coast. She was born into a musical household and was influenced by her Father’s love of Jazz and Blues.

Her passion for music eventually led her to train and work as a Music Teacher. Susanne listens to a wide variety of musical styles and genres. She loves strong melodies with harmonies. She is a fan of Classic Rock AOR artists such as REO Speedwagon, Foreigner, Chicago, Journey and The Eagles. She is inspired by the beautiful soaring harmonies and heartfelt lyrics heard in Country Music and from songwriting greats like Simon and Garfunkel.

Her lyrics are personal and introspective. Her singing and songwriting has been a great tonic and a powerful, constant source of positivity in her life.
