Why Don't You Kiss Me

Michael’s music career started in 1987 with a chance encounter with the outstanding vocalist and ambassador to the Rock world Ronnie James Dio. Michael met him at a private party on the Dream Evil tour, Ronnie encouraged Michael to fulfil my passion for singing and go for the dream.
This then took Michael to West Germany where, in 1988 he worked with a band called Shot.
After returning to London to gain more experience and to be at the epicentre of all things rock and roll, he joined a band called Sapphire who, both recorded and supported the band Big Parade whom had two members of the Cutting Crew in their ranks.
A year later after successful after an ad in Kerrang magazine led Michael join a Australian band called Felony, the band based in Blackpool. The band were creating a storm in music circle’s and had major Record label interest. The completed recordings in Berlin studios owned by John Sykes of Whitesnake and that year they supported Suzi Quatro.
After this Michael started to loads of sessions singing both live and in the studio and this took him working on many projects both home and abroad to continue his thirst for music. During this time Michael was approached by the tribute band “Whole Lotta Led “ to join them and an undisclosed (due to contractual reasons cannot be named) band from the N. East of England whom had a record deal pending enticed me but due to musical differences and circumstances Michael declined.
Covid hit and Michael started to write some songs, with numerous people this first song "Why dont you kiss me" was co written with "Kev Bickerdike" who also p[layed guitar and bass on the song.
The project now has a name too “Storm of Faith”.
This first song “Why don't you kiss me” is to be released on November 18th from all digital streaming platforms this is to be followed by another release next January and an EP in March 2023.
The album entitled Passage of Time should be released later in the 2023.
