A fantastic rework of a legendary song
In 1995 the „Mighty Dub Katz“ created an extraordinary dance-hit with “Magic Carpet Ride”. Not many know, that the legendary “Arrinkinkinkin!!” – sample and the brass-solo were taken from “Yo Soy Cubano” by “The Chakachas” from 1970. It would be fair, that the original song gets more attention, thought Stee Wee Bee, Austrias DJ- and producer-legend, and produced a wonderful coverversion with brilliant vocals and real Spanish nylon guitars, combined with elements from “Magic Carpet Ride”.
