Swedish Vibes

Skumbollar is an ABBA cover band from Gothenburg, Sweden, formed in 2013. They perform across Scandinavia at weddings, events and folk festivals, and have already made a name for themselves in their field.

Incidentally, the name Skumbollar refers to a typical Swedish speciality, similar to a chocolate teacake. The band consists of Alma Lindgren, Elsa Bergqvist and Lars Svensson.

Thanks to the modern possibilities offered by hybrid music (a blend of genuine craftsmanship supported by AI), Alma, Elsa and Lars have now decided to release their first LP featuring five songs they have written themselves.

The LP is titled “Swedish Vibes” and is now available on all major platforms. These tracks take listeners on an exciting journey through the trio’s homeland, featuring songs about Swedish food, an ode to Sweden itself, a light-hearted summer romance, a relationship with an age gap, and a song about salmon and fishing in Sweden.

With “Swedish Vibes”, Skumbollar are forging their own path without, however, denying that Eurovision-inspired sound of ABBA. Anyone who likes Swedish pop music from the 80s and 90s will love Skumbollar’s debut LP.
