Following Donald Trump, Putin is now the second controversial world leader to come under his musical fire. The title of the new track is “Kremlin, your time is running out”, and its message is clear from the very first line. Putin’s power is not destined to last forever. “Your time is running out” becomes both the song’s recurring line and its musical countdown.

Skeleton Trap Horse portrays a man hiding behind walls, projecting strength, sending soldiers into battle and spreading his own version of reality. That thought runs through the entire track. Cameras can show victories, speeches can tell a different story and headlines can be rewritten. But according to Skeleton Trap Horse, one thing cannot be controlled: the passage of time.
