Farewell

So music is the way to express my emotions and while writing this song I actually cried a lot. One of my best friends - and at this point I should probably clarify that I am talking about my cat Chili – died and hell did I not know how to process this. The day I had to bring her to the vet I managed to finish this song and sing it to her as a farewell. I could swear she actually knew what I was doing back then. She just closed her eyes and listened and I will treasure this moment forever. She was aways there, we shared every moment, she knew me better than most of the people around me. She made me smile, consoled me whenever I was feeling down and loved me when I couldn’t love myself. She cheered up my life in so many ways so this song is the least I can do to let you live on in our memories. Farewell my love and thank you for making my life a whole lot better for almost 15 years.
