Romantično

The acoustic album by the Velenje band Šank Rock, entitled Romantic, features the most successful songs of the band's more than 40-year existence, such as Metulj, Puščava sna, Pravljica o mavričnih ljudeh, Maček and Delam, kar paše mi. The compositions were written for their Christmas concert in the Gallus Hall of Cankarjev dom last year, where they were also recorded by the Radio Slovenia team. Matjaž Jelen, Bor Zuljan, Cveto Polak and Aleš Uranjek approached the arrangements quite differently from their previous acoustic album Bosa dama. They not only changed the rhythms of well-known hits and added percussion, played excellently by their friend Dejan Tamše - their keyboardist Samo Jezovšek took on the string arrangements with all seriousness. The world-famous Anja Bukovec shines on the violin and the young but already very successful Nuša Planinc on the cello. These two instruments have added a new dimension to their music, especially the tenderness in their emotional ballads.
