Reinvention of contact

Born in Germany and leaving his hometown to work in Austria, Sam Siefert got back to music and performance by the Jazz scene in Innsbruck. There he found a new home, personalities and musicians who inspired him, to realise a large project with his own compositions and conceptual ideas. At first there was just the idea of releasing a record, but during the recording process, the musicians came up with the idea to form a project to perform live. The compositions combine different styles of music, which formed Sam’s musical taste and interest. Varied rhythms, harmonies and melodies are combined to create a sound atmosphere, in which the complicated aspects of the music feel easier throughout connection. The musicians of the ensemble come from different genres as well and are one important source of inspiration and humanity for Sam.
