Sentiments

'Sentiments' is one such album, which is from a women's perspective. The album is an exquisite collection of eight melodious and endearing ghazals, composed sung by Rashmi Agarwal in her distinct style. Sentiments features ghazals by three contemporary women poets, Ameeta Parsuram, Indira Verma from India and Parveen Shakir from Pakistan. The work of these sensitive women poets from both sides of the border have been magnificently woven in tranquil compositions that grow on you. The tunes are raag based but simple and hummable.
