India's anthem song for the Festival of Giving

DaanUtsav is India's annual festival of giving, celebrated all over the country. A people's movement, DaanUtsav (earlier known as Joy of Giving Week) is celebrated every year from October 2nd till October 8th in India. This is just like Diwali, Father's Day, Christmas, Eid, etc. which is not owned by anyone. It is not a company. It is not a brand. Everyone can take part in DaanUtsav in their own way. There is no blueprint or any rule on how one should celebrate the festival.

In its 11th year now, this inspirational song decicated to DaanUtsav is composed beautifully and also sung by one India's best known musician, Ram Sampath, as his own contribution to the cause. The lyrics and the melody encourage you to participate with full heart in whatever way you can. Pyaar is Love. So the idea of the song is to motivate bystanders to get into the act of giving and experience the feeling of love in the act of giving.

Individuals, housing societies, schools, colleges, corporates, NGOs, etc. come together during this week to kinde the humane instinct inside us - which of sharing and caring for others who are in need of our help.

Be it in kind, skill, time, money or any other form, the DaanUtsav festival makes us better humans when we experience the true joys of helping whoever we can.
