Born in Germany Frankfurt, Punnu started experimenting with music at the age of 13. Music runs in his veins. From his very childhood, he showed a bent towards cultural activities, specifically music. He is very knowledgeable about a spectrum of instruments and plays a lot of them. He also excels in Western vocal music and draws his major musical influences from the 60s 70s and 80s Rock and Pop Music. He has a flair for composing as well as writing Music and lyrics. He Says - "If somebody would ask me; What kind of music do you like? I would feel foolish to even answer that. As a musician you should be able to love all kinds and forms of music. Some more, some less. Been born and raised in Germany, I’ve been exposed to a different kind of sound while growing up, and because of my Indian heritage, I believe I have the gift to draw and combine the very best of both worlds in a musical way. My thoughts about a good voice? Either you have it or you don’t. You could learn the techniques, perfect your pitch etc…but a voice quality, you are born with. The X factor in a voice cannot be learned. In a room full of people talking and laughing, and when you open your mouth and start to sing, everyone falls silent, heads are turned towards the sound, conversations are forgotten….That is the power of Voice ".
