Een willekeurige “line” uit een lied van ons nieuwe album VOL II van Orange Fred.
Dat de weg er naar toe lang was kan ik volmondig beamen.
Een weg vol obstructies opgeworpen als oude zwerfkeien en met geen mogelijkheid te bewegen. Maar toch is er na verloop van tijd ende geduld een beweging te constateren en langzaam volgt er een diep spoor in de aarde dat laat zien hoeveel gewicht het draagt.
Ondanks al deze ontberingen is het toch gelukt om ons gevoel op papier te zetten.
Het papier is gedigitaliseerd in 7 nieuwe en unieke nummers die een reflectie geven van de afgelopen ervaringen van de rollende keien. Speciaal voor de mensen die Orange Fred een warm hart toe dragen hebben we ook 6 nummers uitgebracht waarmee u zelf kunt zingen. Zelfs de koortjes zijn erbij voor het complete gevoel van harmonie, vrijheid en geluk.
Dat is wanneer u aan het zingen bent uiteraard☺.
Er is een lied wat bij ons allen zonder moeite de berg af kwam rollen en dat is het solo optreden van MultiMuziekalist Dr. George Muishout III in het lied Blues Concept. Tevens dank voor Nieuwegein Nico met zijn spetterende Dobro performance. En uiteraard dank voor alle lieve mensen die me hebben geholpen dit Album van Orange Fred te realiseren.
Sena in het bijzonder want zonder subsidie was de kei een monument.
Er komt een tijd waarin we rustig uiteenzetten waar de afzonderlijke liedjes precies over gaan en hoe ze zijn geboren maar tot die tijd vraag ik u om lekker weg te dromen met deze nummers en een eigen weg te banen in ons doolhof van keien uit Holland.

ORANGE FRED - VOL II
ORANGE FRED is the alter ego of Jeroen Claase, a folk-singer from Holland.
Frederik is his middle name, being a son of a catholic migrant from Indonesia. Following the footsteps of his father he has gained a lot of attention singing the songs of yesteryear from Indonesia.
After a sabbatical to overthink his sins he stumbled upon a future friend at an Indonesian Exchange Student BBQ in Utrecht. After a few years getting to know each other they created the finest tunes together. All the stars are aligned in the universe.
Hence forth, the band ORANGE FRED was a fact.
In 2021 they have released their first album of own produced songs called “VOL 1”.
7 tracks are available including smasher “Maniac” and the sensitive “a Feeling”.
Together with volunteered musicians they have created a beautiful album with music to listen to.
With VOL I and VOL II, Orange Fred is trying to accompany home-studio recordings with professional musicians who are currently attending a music college. This will create a broad an special sound. The backings and recording are one fine example.
This all led by Master Musician George Muishout the 3rd.
All songs created by Orange Fred are based on actual facts in live which occur with either of the bandmembers. Trying to write a story down will help you relate and process. Therefor Orange Fred hopes that by listening to our songs your feelings can relate and process at the same time.
Jeroen Claase says, “I felt the feelings rolling down my spine when recording our songs of the album Vol II by Orange Fred. I hope the audience also experiences a lot of senses. I am grateful for the people around me helping me bringing my dreams to a milestone. And let’s see what the future holds for Orange Fred. I would also like to thank SENA for supplying the necessary funding to make this all happen.
