With Muddy Waters and I Hear My Phone Ringing, AAA Culture presents the first single by Norbert Egger from the Rough Stuff series.In addition to working as a musician in his bands and as a producer for these and many other artists in the fields of Rock, Jazz, Classical music and Folk, Norbert Egger is particularly fond of the archaic Blues genre. Since this is the main driver for his artistic work, he has started recording for the Rough Stuff series.Two original compositions from this production are released with the single Rough Stuff, Vol. 1: Both are purely acoustic blues. On Side A, the song Muddy Waters pays homage to the great musician of the Chicago Blues, Side B contains the socially critical song I Hear My Phone Ringing with a hypothetical call from Martin Luther King and the confrontation with the still unresolved problem of racism.In this solo production, Norbert Egger sings and plays all the instruments (slide guitar with the dobro, double bass, and drums).
