Elementary Blues Rock Power Song: "Playin' Blues"
The Blues rock power "Playin' Blues" by Natural Blues provides a rich rock'n'roll feeling. The lyrics also satirically point out that in reality it is always blues. With the song on the A-side and "Love You Pretty Baby", the band features Florian Kemper (guitar), who completes the song with his heavy guitar solo reminiscent of ZZ Top. Both songs were recorded during the Berchtesgaden Sessions of Natural Blues 2024 in Berchtesgaden. In the song on the B-side, Norbert Egger presents unusually composed songs in pure minor, which are given a special character by the resulting special sound, the overlay of triplet shuffle or swing and straight beat elements as well as the unusual bass and the driving walking bass, especially for Florian Kemper's solo, which is somewhere between Freddie King and jazz. The Love Song lyrics culminate in the tongue-in-cheek chorus.
