Odyssey DC

The song deals with being thousands of miles away from everyone you love, chasing the ghosts of past loves and dead relatives around the city. Set in Washington DC, “Odyssey DC” offers one hope: when the city’s famous cherry blossoms start blooming, everything will be okay.

This second single of NAPAEA’s upcoming EP is both sad and comforting and feels like crying while watching the distinct blue and pink skies of DC. The Austrian band’s speciality is the strong and suspenseful build-up to an epic finale, in which different voices run into each other and catch the listener in a web of emotions.

NAPAEA’s upcoming EP “Museum of Broken Relationships” will be released in the Spring of 2024 and portrays all sorts of relationships from different perspectives. After their first single “Future Tense”, which talked about toxic relationships and domestic violence, “Odyssey DC” is the perfect bridge to the next singles, which will be about teenage love, family matters and love in Greek mythology.
