The elctro duo Forgotten Dogs offer 8 new songs on their third studio album
The Damage Done offers variety and seems to be based on the sound of Massiv Attack, Yello or even Ann Clark, but without losing the typical Forgotten Dogs style. Futuristic electro sounds with contemporary lyrics, sometimes with admonishing words, sometimes motivating and suggesting ways out. With the first album song "The Damage Is Done" not only the album theme is repeated, but it ignites the first cracker. Songs like "Stay Alive" are reminiscent of Massiv Attack. Yello is somehow perceived as the core fusion of the album and "Crossroads of Life" is probably aimed at Ann Clark fans.
