Mountain's legendary Reunion tour 1985 - recordings from Switzerland and Germany
Felix Pappalardi was shot and killed by his wife in 1983. Two years later, West and Laing regrouped with Mark Clarke on bass and recorded an album before once again calling it quits. The reunion led them around the world, also to Europe, where they played prestigious gigs, also at festivals. The first five songs of this release are from Zurich in Switzerland. The sixth song is from the Open Air 1985 on July 6th. Mountain shared stage with Meat Loaf and Deep Purple. As a surprise guest the Scorpions' guitarist Rudolf Schenker joined them. They jammed on Joe Walsh's "Rocky Mountain Way", which can be heard here.Line-up: Leslie West - guitars, vocals; Corky Laing - drums; Mark Clarke - bass
