The last chance

The last chance - est dans la ligné de - Error 404- au niveau des choix musicaux, mais MDS s’attaque à un album concept autour de préoccupations écologiques : « en 2013, il aurait fallu 1,68 planète pour fournir la consommation humaine de façon durable. Et ce chiffre ne cesse d'augmenter, puisqu'en 2050, pas moins de 2,8 planètes seront nécessaires à l'activité humaine ». Comme d’autres, MDS engage une réflexion sur nos habitudes de consommation, puis se lance dans une fiction : le départ d’une équipe de pionniers interstellaires s’envolant à la recherche d’une planète hospitalière, la dernière chance pour l’humanité de survivre. La mission sera longue, très longue, trop longue...


The band will be releasing a new opus - The Last Chance - The album is in the line of - Error 404 - in terms of musical choices but MDS tackles a new album concept around environmental concerns: “in 2013, 1.68 planet Earths would have been needed to sustain human consumption. This number is growing incessantly since in 2050 2.8 of our planets will be needed to cope with human activity. Like others, MDS reflects on our consumption habits after which it embarks in a fiction: the departure of a team of interstellar pioneers in search for a hospitable planet, the last chance for humanity’s survival. The mission will be long, much too long…
