The new Missue album ‘8K’ is a concept album based on the 14 highest mountains on our planet.
Their summits are on the one hand closely connected to the planet and on the other the interface
to the heavens and the magical unknown. The mountains are both beautiful and deadly at the same time.
Owing to the power of its own magnetic and physical radiance, the mountain is intuitively seen as hallowed.
Mankind is made to feel humbled and transient in view of the stony expanse. The album ‘8K’ is a soundtrack:
a depiction of and homage to the most powerful and noblest of all the mountains. Dreamy pianos and monumental
expanses are combined with quirky beats and assertive drums. Bleak winds claw, encompassed by hypnotic avalanches
of sound. And amidst all this, everything is suddenly ordered by bridges and cuts, like magic.
