This CD sees her bring together all that Lydia Garrow loves about Jazz. A mix of the early traditional jazz legends such as Cole porter and Arthur Hamilton to her other passion Bossa Nova, with songs by composing greats such as Henri Salvador and Antonio Carlos Jobim. After winning a music scholarship to her school in London, Lydia's potential was nurtured from a young age.An early introduction to the great female jazz vocalists such as Sarah Vaughan, Billy Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald as well as contemporary singers such as Stacey Kent and Madeleine Peyroux ignited Lydia's passion for jazz. Having sung professionally from the age of 17 Lydia has been called on to sing at events around the world, including France, Holland, Ireland, Cyprus, America and Australia to name a few. Lydia regularly performs in Jazz clubs in London including The Bull's Head, Barnes and Pizza Express, Soho, London.
