Love 2020

Die erste Veröffentlichung der umtriebigen Band „Loud“, gegründet von Martin Reiter und Hannes Urban, erschien 1989. John Peel stellte damals die Band mit dem Kommentar „Der größte Trash der jemals auf Vinyl gepresst wurde“ in seiner BBC Radioshow vor. Für seinen Film „Before Sunrise“ erwarb der Regisseur Richard Linklater die Rechte an dem Song „Dancing with da Rat“.
Die alternative Rockmusik der Band war, vor allem in der autonomen Kulturszene europäischer Großstädte beliebt. Auftritte, wie im heute noch legendären New Yorker „Pyramid Club“ und Aufnahmen in Studios am Broadway, waren möglich.
Im Jahr 2020 führte reger kultureller Austausch zwischen den Musikern Punzenberger, Urban, Gerstorfer und Reiter zur Neugründung der Band „LOUDER“. Kulturelle Aktivitäten des Kunst- und Kulturhauses Tacheles Berlin, der KAPU Linz, der Stadtwerkstatt Linz, und des Kulturvereines KANAL Schwertberg, sorgten für Inspiration und bildeten die Basis für die kreative Arbeit im Tonstudio.
Schräge Rocksongs, ein Punkstück und eine Liebeserklärung sind auf der CD „Love 2020“ zu hören. Zeitkritische Texte mit Tiefgang und Witz! Das gemalte Coverbild von Sabine Groschup wurde neu arrangiert. Bunte Raumschiffe, Sterne und Raketen im Weltraum, die Erde nur noch klein im galaktischen Hintergrund. Wer sehnt sich nach dem Exoplaneten?

“Loud” becomes “Louder” and presents the CD "Love 2020"
The first release of the busy band "Loud", founded by Martin Reiter and Hannes Urban, appeared in 1989. At that time, John Peel introduced the band with the comment "The greatest trash that has ever been pressed onto vinyl" on his BBC radio show. For his film "Before Sunrise" the director Richard Linklater acquired the rights to the song "Dancing with da Rat".
The band's alternative rock music was particularly popular in the autonomous cultural scene of major European cities. Performances such as in the still legendary New York “Pyramid Club” and recordings in studios on Broadway were possible.
In 2020, a lively cultural exchange between the musicians Punzenberger, Urban, Gerstorfer and Reiter led to the re-establishment of the band "LOUDER". Cultural activities of the art and culture house Tacheles Berlin, the KAPU Linz, the Stadtwerkstatt Linz, and the cultural association KANAL Schwertberg provided inspiration and formed the basis for the creative work in the recording studio.
