When loved ones pass away there are moments of grief and resentment. We pass through various stages of regret, denial, anger, hopelessness, acceptance and closure. When my father died the focus and evolution of this record totally changed. It was an unconsicous and yet natural process that just happened. The music flowed out effortlessly. This is the beauty of music - expressiveness that is kind of therapeutic in nature - both for the artist and the listener. Music moves you and sometimes it can heal you too.
