Black & White Sunset

LICATA UNVEILS NEW SINGLE “BLACK & WHITE SUNSET”

A new chapter from the alternative pop artist and his upcoming album Codes

Atmospheric and emotional, “Black & White Sunset” offers another glimpse into the musical world Licata is creating with Codes. Blending alternative pop with immersive production, the track explores contrasts between light and darkness, connection and distance, and the spaces in between.

The song’s title reflects this sense of duality: a sunset, normally associated with vivid colour, is stripped back to black and white, transforming a familiar image into something more reflective and unexpected.

Codes marks an important new chapter for Licata and his first album released through Team 33. Bringing together the sounds, ideas and emotions behind his evolving musical identity, the album explores different sides of the artist through melody, atmosphere and visual storytelling.

The creative process behind the album is also documented through Codes Diary, an ongoing series offering a look into the making of the project and the world surrounding it. The documentation is available on Licata’s YouTube and Instagram (@L.i.c.a.t.a).

“Black & White Sunset” is the latest piece of that story — and another step towards the arrival of Codes.
