Lewis Niderman Band - Country Collection
Lewis Niderman, born Alois Niedermann, emerged in the 1980s as part of the core of Austria’s rising country music scene, which took shape in Bad Ischl during that era. In 1985, he founded his first Lewis Niderman Band, and with his distinctive musical approach he opened the door to country music for countless new fans.What set him apart was his unique blend of styles: he infused his concerts with Cajun and Zydeco influences and wasn’t afraid to incorporate dialect lyrics into his original compositions. This collection presents a selection of his early English‑language country recordings.
