A Plea for Tenderness

Lenart De Bock is a saxophonist and composer who is currently completing his studies in jazz saxophone at the academy in Graz. He is an active member of the band Zhlehtet, with whom he has released five albums in the last three years. Together with Miloš Čolović and Sebastian Baumgartner, he has formed the trio Soothsayer, with whom he released his first album, Paleontology, in May 2024, which also features his own compositions. He recently started his own project called A Plea for Tenderness. This is his first entirely original project, rooted in the tradition of spiritual jazz with a touch of ethnic and classical music.
