Kromproom – Timeline

A journey through nearly two decades of electronic music, experimentation and personal evolution.

Timeline brings together 11 tracks from Kromproom, the electronic music project of Polish producer Piotr Norbert Krompiewski. Spanning compositions originally created between 2009 and 2026, the album revisits selected works in refreshed versions alongside new material.

Rooted in the spirit of the 1990s demoscene, where Kromproom began experimenting with music trackers on the Commodore 64 and Amiga, Timeline reflects a lifelong fascination with electronic sound.

Rather than following a single genre, the album moves between electro, atmospheric ambient, breakbeat, experimental electronics and cinematic soundscapes. Driving rhythms meet introspective passages, vintage electronic textures and futuristic atmospheres.

The album features collaborations with Jens Esch Centurio, Tomasz Grochola and Flormen, bringing different creative perspectives into the journey.

Among the highlights is "Nebula", a new six-minute electronic composition combining ambient atmospheres, breakbeats, processed vocal textures and live drums.

The closing track, "Transmission Over (Space Version)", brings the journey to its conclusion and is accompanied by a music video created by visual artist MIPS.

Timeline is more than a retrospective. It is a personal journey through ideas, sounds and musical experiences that have shaped Kromproom over the years.

Official release: February 5, 2027.

For fans of adventurous electronic music, atmospheric sound design, electro, breakbeat and experimental electronica.
