John Kay & Steppenwolf plough new musical fields with this daring album,very 80s

Paradox is the second studio album by the band now known as John Kay and Steppenwolf. It was released in 1984 on the Black Leather Music label. It was originally released only in Canada and Australia. Bassist Gary Link replaced Welton Gite on this album. It also marked a return to recording at American Recording Studios, last used to record For Ladies Only in 1971.
Recorded in the mid-’80s, and released only in Canada and Australia. This CD is particularly notable for some of its hybrid fusion influences on songs like “Nothing Is Forever” and “The Fixer.” Other songs: Watch Your Innocence, You’re The Only One, Give Me News I Can Use, Only The Strong Survive, Ain’t Nothin’ Like It Used To Be, Slender Thread Of Hope, Tell Me It’s Allright, Circles of Confusion.
