Joe Sun (September 25, 1943 – October 25, 2019) was an American country music singer-songwriter. Sun charted fourteen singles on the Hot Country Songs charts. His highest was his 1978 debut single, the No. 14 "Old Flames Can't Hold a Candle to You".In 1993, Joe Sun captivated Austrian audiences with two remarkable solo performances - one at the Nordico City Museum in Linz and another at the iconic Bar Tosca. These evenings became magical experiences that left a lasting impression on everyone who attended. Live recordings from both concerts were later released as “The Museum Session” and “Honky-Tonk Session,” now cherished as unique snapshots of a great artist at his best.
