Dneva krog (single version)

The single Dneva krog, performed by Jadranka Juras, speaks of the power of fateful infatuation and passion, which — like natural forces — are beyond human control. At first, everything seems possible, but then emotions pull a person in with such intensity that reason can no longer withstand the physical pressure — until doubt in the reality of it all begins to creep in. In the end, only belief remains. Jadranka’s interpretation of the lyrics, however, leans more toward the uncontrollability of life itself, which inevitably leads to surrender. But not a passive one — rather, an active surrender that does not signify weakness, but often brings liberation from the physical. The lyrics were written by Katja Petrovec and Simon Krčmar, who also composed the music and, together with Matija Krečič, created the arrangement.
