In the beginning

The writing of this album, titled "In the Beginning", began six years ago. My physician told that I suffered from a rheumatic disease affecting my muscles, particularly the motor skills of my fingers. I was then encouraged to find a hobby that would improve the mobility of my fingers and my health. I bought a guitar, and began practising daily. Melodies I'd come up with in my mind were transferred to the fretboard. After meeting Henry Lindell, an experienced musician who had retired from his daily work, things started to happen.

The melodies were recorded, background tracks were arranged, and the resulting songs were mixed and mastered into their final form. During the COVID-19 pandemic of 2020-2021 eleven new instrumental songs were recorded, mastered and released as the album "In the Beginning" on the 15th of October 2021.

This project has given me feelings of joy and success. With it I've come to realise that you can't relive yesterday, and you can't know tomorrow. What you can do is to decide to live in the moment this very day.
