Hairsonelle - subtle-ironic hairy tales from Basel, Switzerland

Hairsonelle are a German (Lienhard U. Hirnimann aka Uncle Lienhard; keys, synths, programming) and an Austrian (Arno M. Schrinkmann aka Aunt Arno; vocals, guitars, bass) with full hair, creating subtle-ironic music in unique ha(i)rmony on neutral Swiss terrain. They were brought together by the job center, allocating them to the same place of action. The EP "Hysterie pour homme" is their first release. The now about 30-year old Hirnimann is a trained electrician and is the village's master on playing out on an entire range of interpersonal communication. Due to some basic medical training it is a piece of cake to him to change thoughts, emotions and physical impulses into sound and music. Whenever shy Hirnimann dares to leave his shelter, it is only to buy some cotton candy, as tooth decay is the least of his problems. In the night he lies on ultradurable laminate and tries to overcome gravity. Once already he has succeeded in doing so. Schrinkmann, irrevocably convinced that the second half of life began at the age of 26, lives a melancholic's life. Every single day he bids farewell to 35 hairs that have decided in favour of the pillow and against his scalp. The remaining hours of the day are dedicated to his job. He works as a bouncer in a sanatory for mental health and dreams about retirement. In his leisure time he makes music and plays his instruments with a devotion and sophistication otherwise only known to infants.
