One Percent

Nigerian Afrobeats artist and producer Chukwuemeka Henry p.k.a H.E.C
has crafted a unique blend of Amapiano, Afrobeats, Hip Hop, and R&B
in his latest release titled "One Percent". The track features the lyrical
prowess of Hotyce and the soulful R&B vocals of Phaemous on the
chorus. Based in Abuja, Hotyce paints a vivid picture of a tumultuous
love affair fraught with deception and disappointment.

In an interview, H.E.C describes One Percent as an "Oxymoronic
experiment", merging melancholic chords with upbeat Amapiano
rhythms complemented by resonant log drums and powerful
percussion. He also cites how Hotyce's rapid-fire delivery contrasts with
Phaemous' calming melodies.

Having cosigns from Afrobeats icons like Wande Coal, H.E.C boasts of
an impressive production resume featuring collaborations with familiar
names like Davido, Bnxn, Zlatan Ibile, Dj Neptune, Magnito, Skales,
McGalaxy, and even comedians such as Josh2funny and Charles
Okocha.
