Eva De Roovere and Mastaki Bafa release a unique EP for the benefit of 40 years of doctors without a holiday.

Their first single is Maisha, what "life" means in Swahili. A soundtrack of the daily life of Belgium to Congo.
Notwithstanding the serious theme, it is an optimistic song in which life and death dance around each other.
It has become a multilingual album: Eva sings in Dutch and French, Mastaki in French and Swahili.
The production is in the hands of Michel BisgeGlia that North and South flowing together. The result is a beautiful music collage that will stay long.

The collaboration between EVA and Mastaki came as part of their both embassy doctors for doctors without a holiday and the fundamental work that they perform in the Sub-Sahara.

The idea grew from conversations between EVA and Rik Vereecken, among others. Terrific volunteer at doctors without vacation. Rik met Mastaki during one of his work sessions in the DRC and presented the two artists to each other. Soon there was a click between Mastaki and Eva.

Doctors without vacation makes hospitals grow in Africa.

Doctors without a holiday stands for a dynamic network of 600 doctors, nurses and paramedics from Belgium and Africa, who work on improving care in forty African partner hospitals. These experts assigned their colleagues to the operating table, in the hospital or in the lab.
Through continuous professional formations, medical equipment and infrastructure works helps doctors without vacation hospitals in Benin, Burundi, Burkina Faso, Dr. Congo and Rwanda grow to a qualitative and patient-oriented medical care. In addition, the NGO takes a maximum of the local individuality, capacity and with the rapidly changing context in the art.
Doctors without vacation goes for sustainable solutions: together they make the difference and realize impact.
