Esther Bennett sings Duncan Lamont's "A Yellow Ribbon (and Love)"
Scottish composer, lyricist and saxophonist Duncan Lamont (1931-2019) has been described as "the new Cole Porter".His songs have been recorded by many artists including Natalie Cole, Cleo Laine and Mark Murphy. "A Yellow Ribbon (and love)" is one of many Christmas songs that Blossom Dearie asked Duncan to compose, which appeared on her Christmas album.The song is performed and recorded here by two of London's leading jazz artists; vocalist Esther Bennett and pianist Terence Collie.
